Sba 504 Refi

After a couple of weeks of traveling, the Fountainhead Team is happy to be home and excited about pursuing new opportunities and relationships developed during recent travels.

Knowing that being involved in our trade organizations is always beneficial to our Company, we recently attended the NAGGL Conference in San Antonio and most recently, the NADCO Summit is Washington, D.C. We exhibited at both conferences so it was a great opportunity to not just see old friends and colleagues, but also to meet many new ones as well.

Washington, D.C. was especially interesting as we lobbied for support of the SBA 504 Refinance legislation that is working its way through the House and Senate (s.966–has 3 R’s and 3 D’s as cosponsors so far). Providing owners of small to midsized businesses the ability to refinance their existing commercial real estate loans at more favorable (and fixed) rates is a benefit to the economy and to these owners.

We certainly hope passage of the bill happens this fiscal year! Read here to know why this is SO important.

And in case you ever visit D.C., the Senate Cafeteria serves up a delicious buffet (the bread pudding is awesome) at a very reasonable cost (taxpayer subsidized or so we “heard”)! Luckily we were able to burn off this high calorie lunch as we logged in over 5 miles of walking going back and forth between the House and Senate offices!

Please know this: we’re always going to keep doing our part to help America’s Entrepreneurs.

  1. Thanks to Fountainhead for advocating for American SBEs. We too have attended NAGGL and Mid America Conference s for past 10 years!!! Helping Small Business is economic stimulus in the Free Enterprise Format.. Please continue to educate others about the features and benefits of the Small Business Act of 1957.. It created the SBA !!! Job creation is something all of us understand
